Can’t Recognize USB Device
I’m glad it worked out for you :)
I see this frequently wen users connect a nicer flat panel monitor that has a built-in card reader that takes FOUR drive letters. If you’re in a corporate environment & have several network shares mapped to drive letters, it’s even worse. XP & above does make it easy to re-assign drive letters though.
The only thing to watch for is is a particular program is expecting something to be a particular drive letter, it can stop working if it can’t find the drive or device. Sometimes re-installing the application will resolve this issue.

I have tried rebooting both with and without the creative Zen plugged in. No luck.

Computer Management showed a Drive G which is the letter that was previously assigned. So I changed it to “H’ and now shows my Zen.
Thanks for the tip, Dave. I’ll remember it for the next time.
